Use Latin to help you design a document

Had a document that a friend of mine picked up from my desk yes I suppose he was being a little bit nosey. Anyhow he commented on the text, and it’s maybe something you yourself have seen its called “ Mangled Latin” and starts of like this: “Lorem ipsum………….you have more than likely seen it on website templates. I use latin to help me design a document before I actually put the real text in it. What it basically does is it helps with visualising the final layout. So instead of cutting and pasting or rather just wasting time typing rubbish text into a word document , you can simply enter this command. Just type =rand() or =lorem() and hit Enter. The first command repeats the famous sentence “The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog” it does this three times if using office 2003 or writes three lines of random text in office 2007. The other command =lorem() only works in office 2007 and produces three paragraphs of the Mangled Latin the “Lorem ipsum stuff. Repeat the commands as necessary or you can add the number of sentences you want in each paragraph by adding the number in the brackets, separated by a comma so for example =rand(3,3).
So now you know what “mangled latin” is and maybe how you too can use latin to help you lol – enjoy your day!
